While researching, Direct Legal Support, Inc. stumbled upon the criminal statistics of Bakersfield area and this in some ways allows us to gain insight into the litigation rate.

Crime rates in Bakersfield, CA outpace statewide and nationwide rates in several areas. The below chart shows the crime rates of Bakersfield, California, and the United States for the following:

  • Murder
  • Forcible Rape
  • Robbery
  • Aggravated Assault
  • Property Crimes
  • Only the forcible rape rate is lower in Bakersfield. All other violent crime rates as well as the property crime rates are higher in the major city of Kern County.
