Direct Legal Support, Inc. provides full-service handling of writs of attachment , writs of execution and Earnings Withholding Orders under the Enforcement of Judgments Act of 1983. We serve both state and federal writs. Our service of process staff has many years of experience in effecting service of writs in coordination with county sheriffs and the federal marshals. We will open the levy with the Sheriff, serve all required levy documents for process, and file the proof of service with the designated Sheriff to comply with the Civil Code of Procedures. We can prepare all required levy documents needed in order to effect proper service of levy. Note: Effective January 1, 2013, AB2364 requires a financial institution that has more than 9 branch offices in California to designate one or more central locations for service of legal process within the state, and would authorize a financial institution with fewer than 9 branch offices in California to do the same. Let us help prepare all required levy documents and service on central location in order to effect proper service of levy. The “DFI” has already collected this information from large financial institutions and posted it on the agency website in the section titled “Central Locations for Service of Legal Process.”  (* Price is based on location, city and zip for service)
