Los Angeles Superior Court – Civil Division will no longer reject or cancel filings based on filer requests.

Dear Valued Client:

Please be advised that, effective immediately, Los Angeles Superior Court, Civil Division, will no longer reject or cancel filings based on filer requests. Direct Legal is continuing to investigate the court’s full policy regarding orders submitted into the court via eFiling.

We ask you to be mindful of this new restriction when submitting filings into Los Angeles Civil.

Additionally, Complex case types are still not available for eFiling. Complex case types are currently scheduled for implementation on July 1, 2019. If a user is unable to look up their case number in the case search, please confirm that the case is not a complex case before contacting Direct Legal for case investigating.
