San Diego Superior Court Orders Live Stream Broadcast of Certain Court Proceedings

Through May 22, 2020. San Diego Superior Court will broadcast, and the public may simultaneously access, live audio streams of certain court proceedings via the court’s YouTube channel. Judges will have the discretion to “refuse, limit, or terminate such broadcasts, in whole or in part,” the order states.

Currently, livestreaming access is available for a select number of departments at the downtown San Diego courthouse, with only audio available.

According to the order, links to the live streams will be available on the court’s website located here: www.sdcourt.ca.gov
